Here’s a little about me: Ottawa born and raised, after spending several years living in different parts of the country (Toronto, ON, Jasper, AB, Whistler, BC) I’m now happy to call Ottawa home for 20+ years.

I have been working in the hospitality industry for 25 years and I love what I do. I am proud to work for small local businesses and I am passionate about facilitating spaces for people to come together and enjoy each other’s company and conversation.

Additionally, I am keenly involved in Ottawa’s theatre, film and music communities, both on stage and off. I love to dance, cook, bike and laugh.

Jeff Nelson is the president of Anduro Marketing, a company based in Calgary, Alberta. He and his business partner, Damon James, started the company in 2001. Anduro Marketing focuses on Online Marketing which involves developing strategies and techniques to increase traffic, leads and sales from online sources for their customers. We set-up and maintain search engine, pay-per-click, and social media campaigns. Jeff has a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jeff’s career encompasses 15 years in the Information Technology industry, specifically sales and marketing, and 2 years as a quality and business consultant. Jeff’s consulting assignments include Internet Marketing, business intelligence reporting, process re-engineering, quality process control, and competitor benchmark comparisons. Jeff teaches business and marketing courses at the University of Calgary (conted.ucalgary.ca) at SAIT Polytechnic and Mount Royal University.
